Her response is split: her lips say "Of course, sir" ( Front L ), but her real, internal monologue (voiceover) comes from Rear R : "He knows. Move the signal early."

A distorted voice (his spymaster, Vargas, who is supposed to be dead) crackles through the Front L/R : "Señor... don't trust the speech. The penultimate paragraph. A trigger word: 'Renewal.' When you say it, the military will move. Not for you. Against you." The tape ends. Antonio's hand hovers over the red button (a silent alarm). He does not press it.
Vargas's voice: "You passed the test, Mr. President. The real coup... was never in the military. It was in your heart. And you killed it." The President nods
The hidden voice is Elena's. She says: "After 'Renewal,' kill the President. Blame the leftists."
