While FRP has legitimate use cases, such as remote access to internal networks and file transfer for collaborative work, its file bypass capabilities have been exploited for malicious purposes, including data exfiltration and malware transfer.

Fast Reverse Proxy (FRP) is a popular open-source tool used for bypassing network restrictions and accessing blocked websites. However, its file transfer capabilities have raised concerns about potential misuse. This paper provides an in-depth analysis of FRP file bypass techniques, discussing their mechanisms, advantages, and limitations. We also examine the existing countermeasures and propose potential solutions to mitigate the risks associated with FRP file bypass.
