Galaxy Tab A6 Sm-t280 Custom Rom May 2026

Installing a custom ROM on my Galaxy Tab A6 (SM-T280) was a bit of a journey, but it was well worth it. I got to breathe new life into a device that was starting to feel outdated, and I gained access to features and updates that I wouldn't have otherwise.

After installing both files, I rebooted my device into the new ROM. The first boot took a bit longer than usual, but when it finally came up, I was greeted with a fresh, Android 10 interface. galaxy tab a6 sm-t280 custom rom

From there, I ran adb reboot bootloader to reboot my device into bootloader mode. Once it was in bootloader mode, I ran fastboot oem unlock to unlock the bootloader. This process wiped all data on my device, so I made sure to back up everything I needed earlier. Installing a custom ROM on my Galaxy Tab
