Arjun followed the steps like he was defusing a bomb.
He downloaded the 850 MB monster. It took fifteen minutes. He ran the installer. A progress bar appeared, moved to 12%, and then… nothing. The screen flickered. The installer vanished.
A warning popped up:
It was 11:47 PM on a Tuesday, and the office had long since emptied out. Everyone except Arjun.
Desperate, Arjun opened his phone. Reddit. r/techsupport. He typed: “HP LaserJet 1020 Plus not installing on Windows 11 HELP.”

Arjun plugged in the USB cable. Windows let out that familiar ding-dong of a device connecting. Then, a moment later, the dreaded dong-ding of a device failing.
