Centuries later, in modern-day Istanbul, a young film student, researching the history of Byzantium, stumbled upon an ancient manuscript hinting at the existence of Euphemia and Theodota. Inspired by their story, she created a film, "Kahpe Bizans," a testament to the unbreakable bond between two women who defied the odds to safeguard the mystical heart of Byzantium.
The two women crossed paths in a crumbling Byzantine tavern, where Theodota had been hiding from the Crusaders. Euphemia, sensing Theodota's turmoil, offered her guidance and solace. As they conversed, they discovered a shared secret: both had been chosen by the gods to fulfill an ancient prophecy.
In a heart-pumping climax, the two women confronted the leader of the Crusader Army, Boniface of Montferrat, in a desperate bid to safeguard the Icon. Theodota employed her wit and charm to distract the ruthless commander, while Euphemia used her mystical powers to awaken the Icon's slumbering energies.
