You Have Two Eyes. Why Does Your Brain Need a Plural Eye?
3 minutes
Think of a recent argument you had or a person you strongly dislike. Write down three things that are true about your perspective. Now, force yourself to write down three things that might be true about their perspective.
Life is the same. The person who sees only one angle is not strong; they are brittle. They will shatter the moment life throws a curveball.
If you watch a movie, the singular eye roots for the hero and hates the villain. If you listen to an argument, the singular eye picks who is right and who is lying. If you look at your past, the singular eye sees only regret or only triumph.
But the Plural Eye is exhausting. It requires you to pause the scroll. It requires you to say, "Wait. What am I missing?"
No, it’s not a mutation. It’s not a sci-fi horror trope. And it’s definitely not about having three eyeballs.
