Leo had a choice: delete the ROM and lose the electric Pikachu forever, or keep playing in a broken world.
From that moment, the game changed. Gym battles had no music, only rain sound effects. Team Rocket members spoke in corrupted Spanish— "No hay vuelta atrás" —and vanished after defeat. Lavender Town’s tower was replaced with a single room: a shrine for Pikachu clones that never made it into official games.
Instead of fighting, Leo offered a Berry. The Pikachu stared for a long pause—then joined his team, no battle needed. A new message appeared: "Has ganado la confianza del rayo olvidado."
He chose to stay.
