Broken-hearted, Ram becomes a reckless drunk. The Sarpanch decides to marry Leela off to a wealthy suitor from another town. The engagement is announced. On the day of Leela’s engagement, Ram crashes the ceremony. He is not there to fight – he is there to surrender. He falls at the Sarpanch’s feet and begs for a single chance to take Leela away. The Sarpanch pretends to agree but secretly orders her men to kill Ram.
To avoid all-out war, the town’s elderly council suggests a solution: Their houses will be sealed. This only makes the lovers more desperate. Act 3: The Dangerous Game Ram and Leela find a way to communicate via a young boy who passes notes between their rooftops. They plan to elope. On the night of the escape, Leela leaves her home. But Bhavani discovers the plan. He and his men chase them to the warehouse.
