The Remuz Archive (often referred to as Archiv Remuz in German sources) is a private collection and documentation center focused on German emergency money (Notgeld) , military payment certificates , prisoner of war money , and local currency substitutes from the late 19th century through World War II.

It is named after its founder, ("Remuz" being an approximate contraction of his name). Unlike a public museum, the Remuz Archive functioned as a research-grade private collection, including original printing plates, design drafts, correspondence with issuers, and complete series of notgeld notes. 2.
