Nintendo has deleted the old server "key" from their end. If you do not install the final system update (v11.17.0-50), your console will constantly error out trying to connect to dead servers, potentially causing crashes or slowdowns in games that check for online features.
2024: The final shutdown.
If you haven't turned on your console in a while, do it now.
