Mary (Zoe Perry) and Meemaw (Annie Potts) have a legendary falling out. It isn't over money or boys; it is over pride . When Meemaw refuses to apologize for a crude comment at church, Mary kicks her out of the house. The cold war between mother and daughter is so vicious, so passive-aggressive, that it makes Sheldon’s physics crisis look like a picnic. 1. The "Bazinga" Origin Seed While the word "Bazinga" doesn't appear here, this episode lays the emotional groundwork for adult Sheldon’s inability to handle failure. Watching him confront the possibility of being average is heartbreaking and hilarious in equal measure.
