Sheldon is mortified. “The resolution is substandard. It’s 320x240 pixels. That’s only 76,800 total dots of color. For comparison, the human retina can resolve approximately 576 megapixels. This is the visual equivalent of grunting.”
“It’s not about the picture,” Georgie tells his friend Marcus. “It’s about the experience . You can almost see Arnold’s bicep. Use your imagination.”
The family sits in the living room, watching Missy’s cleaned-up 240p video on the TV. It’s still blocky. Mary tears up anyway. George Sr. puts an arm around Missy. Georgie pretends not to care but is smiling.
Mary walks in holding a casserole. “Sheldon, what in the name of sweet baby Jesus are you doing?”
Sheldon decides to solve the resolution problem by building his own analog-to-digital converter from spare RadioShack parts. He commandeers the garage, much to George Sr.’s (Lance Barber) annoyance—the elder Cooper needs space to fix the lawnmower.
