Jakarta, 2007. In a cramped rental room filled with posters of My Chemical Romance and Naruto , 17-year-old Arya spent most of his nights downloading movies from questionable torrent sites. His pride and joy was a collection of Sub Indo (Indonesian subtitled) films — from Hollywood blockbusters to obscure indie horrors.

Back home, Arya opened his laptop. The file "ZODIAC.2007.SubIndo.avi" was gone. In its place was a text document titled: (For the honest Pisces. Congratulations. You survived the zodiac.)
